If you need a firearm transferred in from out of the area, South County Guns is the place to send it! We know that you will be impressed with our seamless transfer process!
We have the most efficient FBI background check process around! The speed and efficiency of our electronic 4473 forms is just one of the reasons people are switching to South County Guns for transfers into the state of Indiana.
For incoming transfers, please use the attached FFL request form and Submit.
Our standard transfer fee is only $45/firearm. We are not responsible for ammunition or accessories delivered to our store on your behalf. A $45 transfer fee will be charged for storage and transfer of each item.
If you need to conduct a person to person transfer, please have both parties come in to the store during normal business hours with your valid, state issued drivers license and we will gladly help process your transfer. We do not accept state ID’s!
South County Guns will also ship your firearm! A $50 transfer fee applies, in addition to S&H charges. Firearms are always insured when shipped, usually via FedEx.
For peace of mind, you will be provided the tracking number so you always know where your package is.
*Please note that we only accept incoming transfers from other FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealers and we will only send our FFL to other licensees.
If the seller of the firearm is a non-licensee, we can still process your transfer. Please provide the contact information for the store he/she will use to transfer the firearm and we will gladly exchange license info with them.
